Angels of Consolation

The sun smiled with all its strength oblivious of the worries of tomorrow. The rain wet the earth until the earth knew what it meant to have a thorough bath.

Jake cried out of his mother's womb into a world of uncertainty, unpredictable outcome of happiness, joy, sorrow and laughter oblivious of the end of the beginning.

Betty had her first long kiss with Benny, welcoming the fears and joys of matrimony.

Patty made a first class degree in the university, happy to make a transit into the larger world; where common sense and graces rule not degree.

Today is Patrick's ordination as the Bishop of World Class Christian Assembly; the DEVIL isn't smiling so GOD deployed His angels.

Today, my friend told me about 'They', in his words ‘they say I'm doing fine'. When I asked, who are they? He said ' they' are Angels of Consolation.

One believes in the goodness of the present another in the goodness of both the present and the future and both work towards it at different level of time.

Either way they are right. It is either you crave for momentary pleasure or lasting pleasure which are both necessary part of living.

Whatever maybe your  outcome of the above realities. What will suffice is taking and living life one day at a time. A step at a time and everything good will surely come.

Maybe You’re Closer to Your Miracle Than You Think For so long, you had no doubts, no fears — just a fervent faith in what God has assured you through His Word. You rejoiced in your tribulations, sharing earnestly with others as though you were already living in your miracles. Your friends couldn’t understand why you felt so much joy despite the storms in your life. You cared deeply for your neighbour’s children, your nieces and nephews — you were everyone’s favourite aunty or uncle because of the warmth, generosity, and light that radiated from you. Everyone waited for your opinion before making important decisions. Sometimes, your words became the confirmations others needed to move forward with a project, relationship, or calling. You continued steadfastly in prayers and thanksgiving — from NSPPD , to the Hallelujah Challenge , to the fiery prayers of Mountain of Fire and every other praise and prayer gathering within your environment and online. With this, your faith...

Waiting Deception

When you have waited for something for so long that the wait feels endless and exhausting, an angel called “Waiting Deception” begins to whisper. It whispers that the caution you once believed was wisdom was actually pride. Suddenly, you begin to wonder how saying an obvious no—something your faith and morals once resisted—now feels normal. It is the same voice that convinced my friend, who had been trusting God for the fruit of the womb, that her abusive ex must have been her soulmate—simply because he now has three children, despite inflicting domestic violence on his wife. Perhaps, the voice suggested, motherhood would have softened the blows, made them lighter, easier to bear. It is the whisper that draws your attention to the speed of your ticking biological clock and reminds you—mercilessly—of the boxes of expected dreams you have not been able to tick. It exaggerates your shame, spotlights your failures, and tells you where—and when—not to show up. Slowly, it silences you until ...

Finding Closure

Finding Closure Our lives are often a potpourri of events and circumstances that shape us—defining who we are and who we are becoming. Many spend years trying to find closure from an event—or series of events—that altered their very existence. From the chaotic memories of a once "happily ever after" to the longing for a true soulmate, we all carry stories waiting to be laid to rest. It could be the slow fading of a once tightly-knit relationship, the sting of unexpected loneliness, or the crushing weight of a loved one’s passing. It may be the pain of fruitless efforts despite tireless labour, or a medical condition that rewrote every part of your world. There’s the journey of losing and regaining faith—the wilderness moments. The people we left behind, the ones who left us. The doors we closed, those shut against us, and those that never opened. The pleasant. The unpleasant. The failures that pushed us forward, and those that knocked us backward—leaving us feeling like we’r...
